This man was the reason the original Immortal Circus was shut down after he killed while feeding, arousing the suspcions of the humans living in the town the circus used to stay at. However before that he was a young man living in St. Louis during the times of trappers and hunters. He thought he owned the world, being a favorite both among ladies and young men, though he had a bit of a mean streak and was deemed insane due to having something that no one at that time understood: bi polar disorder. He was changed by one of his cohorts, a mean and ruthless man named Hunter Helmsly and has never looked back on his human life.

After the circus was shut down, he went off on his own for a while. During this time he went from town to town, gambling and drinking and cavorting with all sorts of types. He made many people afraid of him because of what he was capable of and at the same time, he found out that he didn't care what others thought of him.

That was until he met Cody.

He fell in love with the young man and knew that he didn't want to spend eternity alone, deciding to change him into a vampire when he got the chance. However, Hunter's re-emergance with a man from Randy's past, a Romani vampire named David Bautista, caused Randy to abandon Cody so that he wasn't hurt, though he knows that Cody will never understand that.

What Cody doesn't know is that Randy keeps a watchful eye on him, following the circus from town to town to make sure that he can keep an eye on his fledgling.
